Blackbeard

Squid Ink Cocktail

If you’re looking for an interesting cocktail this Halloween, you’ll have to dive deep. The Blackbeard uses real squid ink to bring out darkness only found at the deepest depths of the ocean.

Inspired by one of the most famous pirates to sail the seven seas, the Black beard finds its base in the classic Kraken spiced rum. However, the pitch black brew manages to bring more to the table with the additions of Fernet Branca and Crème de cacao, thus blending some herbal and chocolaty notes into its murky waters.

Recipe from HonestlyYUM

1 OZ Kraken Rum

1/2 OZ Fernet Branca

1 & 1/2 OZ Crème de cacao

1/8 Teaspoon Squid Ink (Necessary)

1/2 OZ Chocolate Stout

Devil’s Sangria

Soothe Your Demons

Sangria anyone? Who knew you could make such a summery & fruity beverage so festive and scary?

With a deep blood red colour, due to the Casillero del Diablo’s Merlot, the Devil’s sangria uses cranberries and citrus liqueur in place of your standard sangria mix of fruits to become the perfect Fall answer to its summer counter part.

Compliment that sexy Devil outfit with an even sexier drink.

Recipe from Cravings of a Lunatic

Bottle of Casillero del Diablo’s Merlot

4 Cups Cranberry Juice

1/4 Cup Orange liqueur

2-4 cups Cranberries

2 Cups Sparkling Water

Desired amount of Ice

Grave Digger Cocktail

All in a Hard Day’s Work

Grave diggers are more known for their hip flasks than fizzy cocktails but everyone needs something a little lighter every now and then.

Based with hard cider and a punch of bourbon this drink can still make you feel six feet under if you aren’t careful. However, the ginger ale should soothe any belly trouble and prepare you for waking up feeling a little more lively than usual morning afters.

Recipe from Boulder Locavore

2 OZ Hard Cider

1 OZ Bourbon

Top off with Ginger ale

Desired amount of Ice
